旧城改造
综述 旧城改造是指局部或整体地、有步骤地改造和更新老城市的全部物质生活环境，以便根本改善其劳动、生活服务和休息等条件。既反映城市的发展过程，城市空间规划组织以及建筑和社会福利设施的完善过程；又表示物质成果，反映当时的建筑和福利设施状况。旧城改造是个不间断的过程，取决于城市的发展方向和速度。内容包括：①改造城市规划结构，在其行政界限范围内，实行合理的用地分区和城市用地的规划分区；②改善城市环境，通过采取综合的相互联系的措施来净化大气和水体，减轻噪声污染，绿化并整顿开阔空间的利用状况等；③更新、调整城市工业布局；④更新或完善城市道路系统；⑤改善城市居住环境并组织大规模的公共服务设施建设，把旧街坊改造成完整的居住区。当前旧城改造方案设计的趋向为：①保持中心城市相对稳定，增加一些结构完整、规模适当的封闭式卫星城镇，城市用地被划分为一些孤立的功能区，而整个规划结构的发展，有赖于相交半放射环形系统的扩展；②在向灵活分区过渡的基础上编制各种开敞式的城市结构，公共服务中心的布局则根据完善整个城市规划结构的具体条件，具有更加多样的组合方案。
旧城改造的创新理念 在对广州南华西骑楼街进行旧城改造过程中，广州环海集团以引进现代动漫元素的方式，把动漫风格与岭南特色的骑楼建筑完美融合，打造旧城改造的文化创新方式。动漫创意文化的纳入，将使广州骑楼街危破房改造达到修旧创新、独树一格的效果，为广州旧城改造项目树立典范。
